I saw My Simple Little Pleasures do this a few weeks ago, and of course had to try it. I haven't done anything rainbow in a while, so I did a rainbow version!
Pretty cool, huh?
I just used creme polishes, and as you can see, I have many more greens, blues, and purples than the warmer tones. So I just did the warm tones on one finger, and did the cool tones on the last three.
Here are the colors starting with the main base color, the bottom triangle and going from top to bottom, index to pinky. Hopefully that makes sense
China Glaze- Dance Baby (Electropop Collection Spring 2012)
Lime Crime- Crema de Limon
Zoya- Wendy (Tickled Collection Summer 2014)
OPI- Where Did Suzi's Mango? (Brazil Collection Summer 2014)
Zoya- Neely (Lovely Collection Spring 2013)
Orly- Green Apple
Illamasqua- Smash
OPI- Jade is the New Black
Color Club- Take Me to Your Chateau (Pardon My French Collection Spring 2010)
Zoya- Wednesday (Beach Collection Summer 2012)
Barry M- Guava (Gelly Hi-Shine Line)
Zoya- Ling (Tickled Collection Summer 2014)
Barry M- Prickly Pear (Gelly Hi-Shine Line)
Illamasqua- Jo'mina
China Glaze- What a Pansy (City Flourish Collection Spring 2014)
Anise- Violet Falls in Love

Happy New Years!
These aren't anything really that special or "New Years" themed. I just wanted something bright, glittery and fun on my nails, plus all but one of these are polishes I got for Christmas.
The glitter on my ring finger is the one that was purchased by myself, and it is KB Shimmer- Hexy Bikini (6th Anniversary Collection). This a textured polish, and it is amazing of course since it is KB Shimmer. It is primarily silver holographic glitters, but has a lot of blues, pinks, and purples as well which is why I paired it with these other polishes.
The cremes are all Barry M. My fiance's sister goes to school in London, and was previously living in Northern Ireland the last like 5 years, so she got me one of these for Christmas like 2 years ago, and 2 of them for Christmas this year. The one on my index finger is Mint Green, which is part of their regular nail paint line, and was two easy coats. The bright blue on my index finger is Guava (Gelly Hi-Shine Collection). I have wanted to try these for so long, and now I know why all the UK girls rage over these! This one was nearly a one coater, but I used two coats here. Formula was perfect, and it dried super shiny! Now we will have to see if it stains. The purple on my pinky is Prickly Pear (Gelly Hi-Shine Collection). This one was a little thinner, but covered the nail in two easy coats. It also dried super shiney. I am definitely going to have to send some money over with her to get some more!
I painted the glitters over the chevron Nail Vinyls after applying a fast drying top coat. All these glitters were gifted to me by my Keithland. I never ask for polishes as gifts, but this year I gave him a list and links, and he got me a bunch of indies! These three are all from Glam Polish's Mid-Winter's Dream Collection for Winter. I loved every polish from this collection, but figured I would put these 3 to better use. The names form index to pinky are:
Polar Lights
Below Zero
Whirlwind
I used a thickish coat to get these opaque, but I am sure if you wore these on their own they could cover in 2 coats.
Hope you enjoyed these and had a fun and safe New Year's celebration!

Skittles Using Mod Lacquer
I just discovered this indie brand, and haven't really heard much about it. The polishes are amazing! I got three to start off with, and now I want them all! This glitter was pretty much made for me, and I couldn't quite decide what to wear it over, so I did another rainbow (sorta).
Here are the colors I started off with:
From thumb to pinky: Wet n Wild Megalast- Candy-licious. Sinful Colors- Orange Cream (Sugar Rush 2013) This shade is pretty much the same as Orly- Cotton Candy, but it has a bunch of tiny shimmers in it! CK One- Current (Summer 2013) Not unique to my collection, but it is my goal in life to get every Jennifer Green from every brand. So far, this one is my favorite! Barry M- Mint Green, and lastly, Sally Hansen Insta Dry- Mint Sprint.
And here it is with the awesome glitter!!
Sorry for the variety of lighting. I took some yesterday as the sun was setting, and some this morning as the sun was going in and out.
But either way, you can tell how amazing this glitter is! This is easily one of my top glitters, and I have a lot of glitter. It is my top three favorite colors all into one, and the formula is amazing!
The glitter is Mod Lacquer- Technicolor Noise, such a fun name. It has all sorts of glitters in it, including squares! My favorite. There's tiny green and blue micro glitters, large and medium green and blue hexaganols, large and small pink squares, and medium red glitters! It is the perfect balance, and I don't ever want to take this manicure off.
I may wear one of the other Mod Lacquer's I got next.
You can buy Mod on Etsy. Full size for $9.50, and minis for $4.00. She also has some good deals on entire collections! I have a feeling the maker, Jennifer (awesome name) is going to get huge later this year. I don't understand why people aren't going nuts over this brand!

Barry M + Ninja Polish
I am back with an awesome manicure featuring one of my Christmas presents. My boyfriends sister lives in Northern Ireland, so she hooked me up with some Barry M's! Here is the first I have to show:
Sunlight
Shade
I also got a new camera, so these pictures are slightly blurry since I am just getting used to the different settings. My next step is to make a light box for even better pictures!
The base color is Barry M- Indigo. I love this color so much! I have nothing like it. It is the darkest richest purple, and it has kind of a jelly finish to it, but it is more of a creme. I used 2 coats. After that dried, I applied 1 thick coat of Ninja Polish- Pinkerbell. The first time I saw this was when The PolishAholic wore it as an accent. I instantly fell in love and checked Ninja Polish nearly every single day to see if it was in stock. I ended up getting all the floams I wanted too! This polish looks a lot like the floam polishes, but it isn't as dense, and it doesn't have as rough of a texture. It consists of matte blue, green, and pink microglitters. It applied pretty well too! Here is one more picture:
Overcast lighting
The purple looks a lot ore vibrant here, almost like China Glaze- Creative Fantasy. I took this earlier in the day when it was all rainy, but luckily the sun came out a little bit for the first photos I showed you.
I believe Barry M's are only sold in the UK and various online shops. Ninja Polish can be found here, along with many other amazing brands, including Barry M! They range from $9-$11, and Pinkerbell is currently out of stock, but FLOAM isn't! So go get you some! Hope you enjoyed
