Floss Gloss was having a 20% off sale for Valentine's day, so I thought that was an excuse to get some, especially their newest shade they just released!
Probably the hardest bottles to hold...
The purple is their newest shade, and it is Floss Gloss- Lean. Such a beautiful purple! And amazing formula too. I used two coats on my index finger. The pale blue used as the base color for the half moons and smaller dots on my index finger is Floss Gloss- Moon Baby. The formula on this one was a little runny, but still good opacity, I used two coats. Lastly the bright blue on my pinky and the second color used for the half moon is Floss Gloss- Wavepool. OH MY GOSH! This polish is so beautiful, and the color saturation is to die for. It is pretty much a neon, and glided on like butter. You can get away with pretty much 1 coat if you have smaller nail beds, but I used to coats.
The textured polish used on my ring finger is Dance Legend- Vernazza. I used two coats as well.
You can get this Dance Legend polish along with their other textured polishes on Llarowe. And you can get Floss Gloss on their website and also various boutiques in the SF area.

Zoya Pixiedusts
Here is a simple quick manicure I did a few days ago. That is when textured polishes really come in handy, when you don't have enough time to do your nails!
This is actually after two days of wear, too. You can see minimal tip wear, which is impressive since I am kind of rough with my nails at work, and wash my hands like 50 times a day.
The champagne color is Zoya- Tomoko (Fall Pixiedust 2013). And the Green is Zoya- Vespa (Fall Pixiedust 2012). Both were two coats. I got both of these when Zoya had their three polishes for "free" promotion. Love them, these will be a go to when I have no time to do my nails but want to switch it up!
Here is a slightly blurry shot so you can see the sparkle more.

Zoya Dupe Alerts!
Sorry these are just pictures of bottles, but I thought this would help some people get their hands on some pretty sought after polishes, and they are cheaper than the originals!
I went into DSW with my mom so she could get some shoes, which meant she would probably get me a pair as well :). I pretty much hate shoe shopping since I am plain and would be content wearing converse and vans the rest of my life. But I love going to DSW since they have Anise nail polish! This is the only place I have seen these polishes available for purchase. I don't even think you can buy from their website...
Here is the first Zoya dupe I got a while ago now:
Zoya- Zuza (Surf Collection Summer 2012)
Anise- Sea Siren
Pretty much the same color in the bottles
Here are the other two I got yesterday, one I own the Zoya to compare next to, but the other I don't.
Zoya- Aurora (Ornate Collection Winter 2012)
Anise- Be Worldly
Again, pretty much spot on in the bottle, the Anise one might be just slightly darker
Lastly here is Anise- Cosmic Forces which looks a lot like Zoya- Blaze (Ornate Collection Winter 2012). I guess this is the only one I "needed" since I don't own the Zoya one.
Go to DSW and get you these polishes if you missed out on them! They were buy one get one 50% off yesterday, so who knows how long that will be going on. They are $6 compared to a 9$ Zoya. The Zuza dupe was also there! Hopefully one day I will wear these together to really see how they compare.

Hare Polish + Water Marble
It has been wayyy too long since I have done a water marble! Since I moved into my apartment in October, I have been too scared. I just imagine myself spilling the cup of water with nail polish in it all over the floor. Well, I finally built up the courage to do one since I didn't want to do just another swatch without any nail art. Here it is:
I think I picked pretty good complementary colors for the water marble, yeah?
The glitter is Hare Polish- King of Carat Flowers. I used two thicker coats. If you go to my Hare polish label on the side of my blog, then you can see that I pretty much love the formula of all her polishes, especially considering they are packed with glitter! This is the only one I have had a problem with so far. There is so much glitter in it, it tends to clump towards the tip of the nail the more bush strokes you use, so it did require a little manipulation. I still love the polish though, I have nothing like it!
The colors I used for the marble are both from the OPI Germany Collection from Spring 2013. The green is OPI- Don't Talk Bach to Me, and the taupe is OPI- Berlin There Done That. Both worked great for marbling as always!

Mod Lacquer French Tips
This is what I wore on Valentine's Day. Mod Lacquer quickly became one of my top indie brands last year. Jennifer makes some amazing polishes, with amazing quality, and her Spring collection for this year did not fail to impress. Naturally, I got all of them!
Mod Lacquer Spring Confection collection
I could not choose which one to wear first, so I just put all four of the polishes on my fingers! Each finger has 2 semi thick coats of polish. Each one had an amazing formula, glided on the nail like butter. I really have nothing bad to say about any of these polishes, only that it is hard to pick my favorite. I think it is a tie between the green and pink....
The colors are:
Pink Tart
Minty Kiss
Blueberry Bliss
Blackberry Cream
The names make my hungry!
Lastly, I did some colorful french tips using:
Sally Hansen- Fuchsia Power
Essie- Mojito Madness
China Glaze- Sunday Funday
China Glaze- That's Shore Bright
Hope you like these as much as I do. You can get the entire collection on Mod Lacquer's Etsy, all four for the price of three!

Simple Swatch: Cirque Colors
I am posting this on Valentine's day, but I wore this a couple days ago. No time to edit photos.
I think I would be perfectly happy if I owned just holographic polishes!
These two shades are from the Cirque Alchemy collection for Fall 2013. Both were two easy coats, and have an amazing holo effect just like the other Cirque holos I have
The greyish purple one is Magnum Opus. Such a unique color. And the brown is Mink. This is closest I will get to Enchanted Polish Hot Chocolate.
Here is one last photo of the awesome holgrachicness:

Simple Swatch: Gloss n' Sparkle
I have so many untried polishes because I have a hoarding problem. I especially have a lot of untried indies, and every time I wear one, it pretty much becomes my new favorite, this one is no exception:
Gloss n' Sparkle- Land of Sunshine
I thought this was a white crelly base, but as I was taking photos, I realized it is leaning more towards a creamy white base. I love the contrast between the cream color and the neon glitters in it! There are all different sizes of hexagonal and SQUARE glitters, ranging from a pink, blue, purple, orange, and green, pretty much every color of the rainbow, but neon!
I used two coats in these photos. Glitter pay off was amazing, and not hard to get out of the bottle and onto the nail.
This shade is currently in stock on Llarowe, so go get it!

Simple Swatch: HARE Polish
I believe these were my first HARE Polishes. I saw Chalkboardnails swatch these a while ago, and when she said these were packed with glitter, that is what sold me. A lot of indies don't have a lot of glitter pay off and they need to be worked with a little more. Hare Polish has always been so jam packed with glitter, but so easy to work with!
You can tell how old these are since the bottle still has the old label!
The purple is Hare Polish- Magic Mist and the pink is Hare Polish- Rad Cloud. Both were two coats, and topped off with one coat of Poshe Top Coat.

Ombre Dots
This is probably my most favorite nail art I have done, or at least one of my top 5. It is very simple, so anyone can do it! You just need a lot of polish...
Cool, huh?
I did something pretty similar before, but it was a rainbow. The Australian tuplets of instagram did it, so I played off that and did my own version.
Here are the colors from my index finger down to my pinky, a total of 12!
Zoya- Neely (Lovely Collection Spring 2013)
Jessica- Lime Cooler (Gelato Mio Collection Spring 2012)
China Glaze- Electric Pineapple (Island Escape Collection Summer 2011)
China Glaze- Def Defying (Cirque du Soleil Collection Winter 2012)
China Glaze- Gaga For Green (Electropop Collection Spring 2012)
China Glaze- Starboard (Anchors Away Collection Spring 2011)
OPI- Mermaid Tears (Pirates of the Caribbean Collection Spring 2011)
China Glaze- For Audrey
China Glaze- Electric Beat (Electropop Collection Spring 2012)
China Glaze- Flyin' High
OPI- Fly (Nikki Minaj Collection 2012)
Color Club- Endless Summer (Fiesta Collection Summer 2013)
I topped it off with Seche Vite so I wouldn't ruin the design with smearing!
Enjoy!
